Job Title: Apprenticeships Assessor – Science
Salary: Commencing at £30,523 with progression to £33,349 per annum.
About the Role
What You Will Do
What You Will Do:
- Manage your caseload, arrange site visits, and meet with employers.
- Monitor progress and complete progress reviews.
- Liaise with employers and provide feedback on apprentices’ progress.
- Produce and update individual learning plans for learners.
- Assess apprentice work against apprenticeship standards.
- Participate in assessment and quality assurance procedures, including internal verification.
- Contribute to the review and evaluation process for continuous improvement.
About You
- Specialist qualification in a Science related field at Masters level or significant work experience.
- Possess A1 Assessor units or be willing to work towards them.
- Level 3 teaching qualification or willingness to complete it within a set timeframe.
- Previous experience of assessing and understanding apprenticeship standards.
- Experience in teaching, training peers, or transferring skills to others.
- Substantial industry experience in a relevant occupational area.
- Experience in giving clear and constructive feedback to guide student learning.
