It's a busy and exciting time for the brand and we’re on the hunt for an Artworker to join our growing Design team. 


The Role


Our love of fashion is the inspiration for everything we do here at New Look and that inspiration starts with our amazing in house design team. The world has changed, and we now do so much more virtually that we want our presentation packs to reflect all the creativity and excitement that the New Look design team offers. Every day is different, working with one eye on the now and the other on the future.  You will have a creative mind, with a passion for constantly wanting to develop and push boundaries on how the vision is presented.

Working as part of the in-house design team to create inspirational packs and print-ready artwork for presentations to all levels of people within the business. If you have a passion for graphic design, layout, font and colour work then this is the role for you. Motion graphics,  animations and ability to use After Effects (or similar) is a must.


A finger on the pulse of all the latest graphic, layout and typography trends. A strong eye for colour and how to put colour together to grab the audience.

  • Helping develop and maintain a strong brand identity under the guidance of the Design Managers.
  • Take briefs from Senior Head of Fashion and the Design Managers, execute accordingly and develop close working relationships with colleagues and the wider team.
  • Pro-actively generating ideas and applying creative concepts through to artwork accurately.   
  • Working with other team members to ensure all projects are completed accurately, on time and to the highest and most inspirational standard.
  • Creating inspirational editorial layouts that convey the tone for the upcoming season. An excellent eye for colour and understanding of how to use colour and typography to create an impact is a must.  
  • Creating motion graphics and animations for packs.
  • Proactively working to critical path deadlines. You will be the driving force that ensures that presentation packs are started in line with the critical path, working on 2 or more packs within the same timeframe.
  • Proactively finding ways of working on design software, constantly keeping up to date with advancements in technology.


About You

  • Strong design skills – You’re not pixel-perfect precious, but your work is high quality.
  • You have a passion for fashion and trend.
  • You can work to deadlines, are a natural at spinning plates working on multiple projects at the same time.
  • You're creative – but you respect process and the need to deliver on time.
  • Strong knowledge of latest design software packages such as InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop and  Illustrator.     Working on PowerPoint and SharePoint is essential.
  • A clear understanding of print processes.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
