Salary: £46,548 – £51,470 per annum

Shift hours: 25

Maternity Cover – Fixed Term Contract

You will be employed by the trust which consists of five schools led by Sidney Stringer Academy. The schools are Radford Primary Academy, Ernesford Grange Community Academy, Riverbank Academy (Special School), Sidney Stringer Primary Free school and Sidney Stringer Academy.

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher to cover a maternity leave, who will work alongside the Associate Head Teacher to support in leading and managing the Radford Academy. 

As well as being an enthusiastic and committed teacher with high expectations. You will teach in year 6 for the rest of the academic year and then in KS2.  You will be expected to play a major role under the overall direction of the Associate head teacher in developing the strategic direction of the school.  You will assist with managing staff and with organisational requirements of the school. You will be expected to be a positive role model for other staff members, with outstanding teaching practices as well as supporting good behaviour management. You will on occasion deputise for the Associate Head Teacher. Once the current Assistant Head teacher returns from her maternity leave there is potential for the teaching element of this job to become permanent with a possible TLR attached to the role.
