Café' Supervisor

Monday – Friday

40 hours per week

£30,000 per annum – £32,000 per annum

 

We are looking for an experienced Café Supervisor to join the Allen & Overy—Lavanda Restaurant team. The supervisor's role is to ensure and develop, in a planned manner, the effective management and efficient service of Lavanda, the partner's lounge, and the espresso pod within Allen & Overy. The supervisor also ensures high-quality presentation whilst acting within departmental budgetary and policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • To oversee a team of baristas and ensure the smooth operation of the shift.
  • To oversee the day-to-day operations by ensuring that our product and the service we provide are always of the highest standard
  • To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all catering functions.
  • To ensure an efficient and high standard of service to all clients in all areas.
  • Ensure all operating standards are followed by all staff and reviewed when necessary.
  • To ensure the effective delivery and efficient service of all areas within the unit and support the Lavanda Manager.
  • Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are always maintained

The ideal candidate will possess a good knowledge of food and beverage, as well as outstanding customer service and leadership skills.

  • To be willing to work the business's hours and needs
  • Be able to work under pressure for any unforeseen circumstances, i.e. function changes, requirements, sickness, etc.
