Salary: £32,836 – £35,377 (37 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year)
As a Work-based Learning Tutor for Carpentry & Joinery, you’ll be in a rewarding & varied role, getting out & about in the community and visiting a range of businesses to pass on your skills and develop the next generation of construction professionals

You’ll be building relationships with employers and maximising opportunities for apprentices while working closely with them to monitor progress through 1:1’s and identify areas needing focus.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
Teaching C&J in a hands-on practical learning environment
Monitoring & Assessing learner progress
Liaising and building relationships with employers
Championing our commitment to putting students first

Effectively supported students in their apprenticeships
Enthusiastically engaged with the college’s dedicated CPD programmes
Built Strong working relationships and supported colleagues where possible

Have qualifications and strong industry experience in Carpentry/Joinery/Woodworking
Hold a qualification such as A1/TAQA/Certificate in Education & Training or be willing to work towards upon starting (Fully funded by us!)
Be enthusiastic about work-based learning for construction apprentices
Be excited to bring fresh ideas to the table and help us constantly improve
