Role – Residential Children’s Care Worker

Salary Specifics

£18921.24 – £20178.60 + approx. £2160 Sleep in allowance + Overtime paid at £13.99ph

We provide a 12 day excellent specialised training to prepare you for your introduction into the Childrens Residential Home, You will be paid for your attendance on the induction and the courses are fully funded by the company to ensure that you have all the tools needed ready for your first day on the job.  The training is designed to meet the needs of the children and young people within our trauma services. You will be fully supported and welcomed by the team, working 3-5 shifts shadowing an experienced RCW or Team Leader to help you settle in.

We are committed to supporting everyone to achieve their personal best which also includes or valued employees. Therefore, after successful completion of your probation we will fully fund and support you passing your Level 3 Children & Young people workforce.

Hours

This is a permanent, employed position. Consisting of an average of 169 hours per month on rota basis:

Normal shift hours are 0800 – 23:00 with Sleep Ins, number of sleeps required depends on the size/occupancy of the home you will be working in but please talk to us regarding flexible working, There will also be an opportunity of overtime if desired this can include multiple Childrens Residential home based within the West Humber region.

The type of day-to-day duties can include

· Providing encouragement (getting ready for school)

· Care Planning

· Transportation (use of company car)

· Meal Planning

· Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People

· Organising and facilitating Social Activities (out of school

· Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning shopping etc.)

· Liaising with external Stakeholders and our own multi-disciplinary team
