Salary: £20,441 – £21,189 per annum, pro rata to hours/weeks worked (April 2023 pay award pending)

Shift hours: 20 hours per week

Frederick Bird is a large 3/4 form entry, spacious, well-resourced Primary school serving the Hillfields community of Coventry.  Our committed staff team are always looking to do more to genuinely promote the life chances of our children.

We are currently in the process of joining Inspire Education Trust who have been supporting us with school improvement from the wider Teaching & Learning team since November 2022. We are very excited about this new partnership and can already see the difference working alongside the Inspire team. With our Ofsted inspection being very recent and the fact we are moving into a Trust, we now have at least 3 years to continue to develop to secure at least ‘Good’ at our next inspection.

We are seeking to appoint a Clerical/Resource Assistant to join our busy, friendly, supportive Admin Team.  The role will be varied, with its main responsibilities being to ensure that the school’s resources are maintained and that photocopying/laminating and filing are carried out to support this large school and its team.

Work Pattern

20 hours per week (11am-3pm Monday to Friday)

39 weeks term time only

Fixed term until 31st August 2024

We hope to recruit a Clerical/Resource Assistant with enthusiasm, positivity and the unshakeable desire to help the Admin Team provide an excellent service.

Please download the application pack and return completed direct to the school – admin@frederickbird.coventry.sch.uk

Closing date:  12 noon on Friday 29th September 2023

Interview date:  TBC

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.

Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre employment check with effect 1 Sept 22, please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
