Contracts Director

As a Contract Director you are key to develop and lead a team of Catering and Support Services Managers within the contract to provide exceptional service to our clients. Manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to. Drive foodservice and FM support service solutions that exceed new and existing customer requirements.

Review business performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting. Demonstrate commercial value to the Leadership and Executive teams in line with the One Compass vision, values and overall business strategy.

Contact Director

your key accountabilities will be but not limited to;

  • Lead and drive the strategy of growth and retention of new and existing business in each sector through leading the development of long term account plans, including a rolling lifecycle review process
  • Drive the sales team to develop financially sound bids and proposals and sign off final agreements to ensure we deliver operationally sound contracts
  • Implement senior client review process to identify additional sales/service opportunities
  • Communicate strategy to the team and ensure that improvements are implemented to maximise performance and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide operational insight alongside strategic marketing plans to grow sales/services and deliver customer satisfaction
  • Ensure purchasing complies with Compass Group UK & Ireland policies
  • Manage labour costs above budget to client through policies in place
  • Challenge and continually review labour structures and ratios
  • Review trends and adjusting consumable budgets accordingly

  • Experience in highly commercial and price sensitive markets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fully conversant with current Health and Safety and food safety regulation.
  • Experience on application of risk management, analysis and reduction
  • Managed senior level third party relationships
