JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is a Social brand – with a storied history, and we are looking for a talented and highly motivated Creative to work across our social media + digital channels in shaping, scoping and generating social first content that travels. As a creative for Channel Innovation, you will be working on campaign level content with high level production budgets & worldwide scope.   

You are:

  • You should hold a strong interest in the world of Social and Digital media – across the various channels it encompasses, with an understanding for what makes great social first content that travels.

  • You will have confidence in expressing your creative ideas and an ability to quickly formulate boundary pushing concepts
  • You should be collaborative & able to work across multiple projects at a time
  • You’ll possess a passion for conceptual thinking and storytelling through your work
  • You love to research and reference across a range of media (film, art and fashion)
  • You should have a strong sensibility for the fashion aesthetic & able to pull references across the wider social space, including competitors
  • Are a self-starter who is highly motivated & can work independently

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A key player in the creative concepting for upcoming social media campaigns & digital activations; taking projects through the complete pipeline – from concept to delivery.
  • Concept, design & art working for bespoke social media content and activations.
  • Assisting the art director on set / in development of projects including researching & building creative details (set references, poses, photographers, location ideas etc)
  • Provide support for our social creative assistant on BAU tasks such as curation of the brand Instagram
  • Writing content creator briefs for tiktok & influencers
  • Collating & building creative decks that are presentation worthy
  • Ideating interactive content such as giphys in collaboration with digital + video teams

PERSONAL PROFILE

 

  • A highly motivated creative with a strong eye for detail and a drive to develop as a creative in the luxury space.
  • Are able to take a creative idea & build out deliverables according to the brief
  • Knowledge of social first creators, photographers, set designers & other collaborators
  • A portfolio exhibiting that exhibits a high level of creativity & ability to transform those ideas into assets
  • Knowledge of global social platforms, including the constraints and creative possibilities of each (particularly Instagram & Tiktok)
  • A creative mind, that thrives on storytelling through their work
  • An ability to quickly formulate ideas – whether through sketches, animated storyboards, image curation or mock-ups.
  • Translate highly creative & original ideas into digestible & cohesive decks
  • A great communicator who is confident in curating decks & presenting their work to the Art Director & higher stakeholders
  • Someone with cultural awareness of the design landscape with respect to current creative and marketing trends.
  • Knowledge of adobe Photoshop (basic editing and cropping) is a must.
  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro or other video editing software is ideal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with other members of the team and departments.
  • 1-2 years industry experience as a creative or similar
  • Preferably a BA in fashion communication, photography or similar
