We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Learning and Development team at Greggs as Digital Learning Manager.

Reporting into the Senior Learning and Development Manager, a great opportunity to join a highly engaged, passionate, and creative team on a 9-month maternity cover secondment.

You will lead the Digital Learning Team to create accessible digital content to support business initiatives, enabling our strategic growth.  You will also lead our group of content authors for The Hub, working cross functionally to ensure news published meets the Greggs brand.

Vacancy Introduction

  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

What you’ll do

 

  • Line Manage a team of four Digital Learning Creators and one Learning & Development Administrator
  • Manage the workload planner for all digital learning requests, circa 200 per year
  • Provide detailed feedback and sign off on all digital learning content and publish on our LMS.
  • Manage module and programme configuration and assignment profiles – ensuring colleagues are assigned the correct training to do their role, as well as access to self-development content
  • Work with L&D Leads to ensure that digital content is of a high standard
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts across the business to remove any barriers to colleague learning
  • Challenge and upskill stakeholders to explore different ways of using and delivering digital content
  • Work with Retail and Supply teams to make sure colleagues have the time scheduled to complete learning
  • Recognise where changes are required in digital content – i.e. policy and procedure changes
  • Research and keep up to date with accessibility guidelines, and ensure these are reflected in all digital content
  • Manage Hub content calendar and lead fortnightly content author sessions
  • Help identify content authors and engage with relevant functions to do this
  • Approve content which is routine or pre-authorised and escalate any content requiring further consideration and review to Head of People
  • Work with functions to develop understanding of The Hub and appropriate content for sharing through this channel
