Coventry’s Statutory Assessment and Review Team is committed to working with families and partners to support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This diverse service has responsibility for a range of important statutory educational work within Coventry. What is the job role?
The role of the Education, Health and Care Plan Assistant is to provide administrative support to the statutory assessment and annual review process.
This is a busy and demanding administrative role which involves email and telephone contact with parents/carers, schools and settings, health, social care, other Local Authorities and professionals from a wide range of teams.
Who are we looking for?
The person we are looking for will be organised, an excellent communicator with highly developed IT skills including an in depth knowledge in the use of Edexcel and able to learn new databases quickly. You will need to work accurately, have attention to detail and able to work under pressure to meet competing demands.
It would be great if you have a knowledge of the SEND Reforms but is not an essential requirement. You will have a good standard of general education including qualifications in English and mathematics at a minimum level of GCSE grade A-C equivalent.
