We currently have an opportunity for an Events Porter to join our team at Headingley Stadium. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a fast-paced venue with all-year round operations. With a range of both sporting and banqueting events, this pivotal role will support our Hospitality team on a daily basis, with the setup of events.
As a Conference and Event Porter you will be responsible for:
- Support with the setup of event spaces, assisting our Hospitality team with the day-to-day Conference and Events Business.
- Ensure suites and meeting rooms are clean, tidy and functional
- Assist with deliveries, ensuring paperwork matches the delivery, put away/store goods on arrival
- Ensure that all equipment and materials are returned to the appropriate storeroom at the end of each shift
- Be fully conversant with all operating procedure and implement accordingly
- To be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful at all times whilst carrying out duties to the highest standard
- Manage small setup team
