Our Event Sales Executive will manage and convert sales enquiries and opportunities for the RCS. Working towards the venue's monthly and quarterly annual budget, profitability targets and deadlines, our Event Sales Executive will work with the team to maximise all revenue opportunities.

Salary: £32,000pa
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage and convert venue enquiries and sales opportunities of the Sales & Events Department.
- To generate and contribute sales, which will achieve venues, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual budget, profitability targets and deadlines.
- To maximise all revenue opportunities for both The Royal College of Surgeons and Searcys.
- To co-ordinate commercial and internal events within the venue.
- Provide our clients with the highest of Searcys customer service and innovation, supported by detailed event sheets to ensure the various departments deliver accurately the clients’ expectation.
- The aim is to manage and increase conversion of the venue sales enquiries and all revenue potential opportunities, generating and contributing to sales which will achieve the venues profitability targets and deadlines.
- It is also important to support client account development and leading key projects through the seasonal calendar.
- To ensure correct allocation of rooms/suites, and corresponded/deadline within agreed timeframes.
- To create, complete and have ownership of all Banqueting Event Orders (BEO’s) – detailing all event requirements from start to finish.
- To ensure that all BEO correspondence is dealt with promptly and communicated effectively to departments and partners.
- 1 year of experience within a similar role
- Meticulous administration and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication skills (internally and externally)
- Proactive and excellent time management
- English Language – fluent or bilingual proficiency
