The Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality and standards of Adult Education Service educational programmes. The IQA will be responsible for supporting the assessment process, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality assurance standards, as well as the development of teaching and assessment staff. This role is essential to ensure that learners receive a high-quality education experience that meets regulatory and awarding body requirements.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual with a strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and regulatory requirements in education, up-to-date knowledge of Awarding Organisation guidance in the area of Early Years Education. You will have a good understanding of importance of providing constructive feedback to the assessor and programme other education staff on all quality assured elements.

You will need strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and high levels of proficiency in using IT systems for assessment and quality assurance purposes.

It is important that you have a minimum Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (or equivalent). And you have proven experience in an Internal Quality Assurance role within an education or training setting.
