Job Description

This role will be responsible for supporting the L&D Team reporting into the L&D Business Partner ensuring the business achieves its strategic learning objectives.

You will provide strategic input and key support across our entire L&D remit, which includes management of programmes (mid-to-large) and training session enrolments/reporting. Liaising and partnering with key stakeholders internally (Talent Advisors/Partners as well as mid-senior management across the business), as well as external trainers to ensure preparedness, efficiently using Marcel Classes (our L&D LMS). Confidently overseeing and managing several programmes/projects, whilst creating and facilitating training content where needed.

You will develop trusted relationships across Publicis Groupe and provide on the ground insight, which will be fundamental to the contribution of the success of our people’s growth by supporting the learning experience and engagement, succession planning, whilst supporting our client business growth and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on most conversations with Talent Advisors/Partners as well as mid-senior management across the business, to provide learning solutions to our people and/or business challenges.
  • In collaboration with the L&D Senior Director and L&D Business partner(s), oversee, mentor, challenge and coach junior team members on their design and delivery of key projects, providing improvement suggestions where necessary.
  • Be responsible and a driver for strategically driving learners to the training opportunities available depending on their career levels to ensure that all training sessions are filled with delegates.
  • Have a strong understanding of the business capabilities and needs of our agencies/practices within Publicis Groupe, providing input into the planning of suggested training content, building the content and delivery methods with minimal support.
  • Constantly evaluate how we can apply DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) into all our training elements whilst partnering with our DEI and EAGs (Employee Action Groups) to ensure all learning is inclusive and caters to a broad range of differing needs across the business.
  • Manage a range of projects (medium-large) with complete ownership of specialist projects understanding the purpose, outcome, budget management, and ROI of the project. Taking into consideration diverse ways of learning, test and learn approach and adult learning theory.
  • Lead CSR reporting and share insights to the L&D team and key stakeholders, to feed into strategies and meetings of various levels/communities across the business. Continuously upskill the L&D team to have a foundation understanding of how to apply reporting to their own projects.
  • Strategically input into regular H1 and H2 reporting for agency/practices CEOs and insights to L&D team, to feed into the L&D strategic learning objectives and demonstrate the ROI to the wider business. Using data smartly ensuring that the L&D team can always learn and improve in different areas where possible.
  • Personalise, tailor, and facilitate L&D content and initiatives to be tailored to each agency and audience for better employee and leadership engagement, present in agency meetings.
  • Be the driver of innovation to ensure that our training content and programmes are evolving with how the industry is changing as well as the strategic needs of the business and people.

Stretch Goals:

  • Demonstrate complete ownership of senior level programmes/projects, to drive the programmes actions forward to completion and evaluation.
  • Understand how to strategically adapt and reprioritise business needs providing solutions at a macro Publicis Groupe level, whilst also understanding the budgetary implications.
  • Consult key stakeholders by understanding their people and business challenges and supporting them on the right learning solutions with little support needed.

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with full time employees being office-based three days during the working week.
