Mulberry Court are recruiting!

Mulberry Court is a residential service in Gillingham, Dorset. As a member of the support team, you will work with people who have varying degrees of disabilities to promote independence and choice through meaningful activities and experiences. We enable the individuals we support to achieve their goals and aspirations while living as independently as possible.

The individuals we support go on day trips to lots of different places, such as Ascot, Longleat and Monkey World. They’re situated right next to a garden centre and take regular trips to their café for lunch! They love gardening, arts and crafts and competitive games and sports, as well as a barbecue! Music is so important to many of the people we support, and we have lots of in-house discos with karaoke as well as trips to music festivals and concerts!

We would describe the nature of our work as more than just a job, as it has a complete family feel where everyone is supported. Each day will be different, and the main focus of your role is to provide daily support to adults in our residential services. It’s definitely not a normal 9-5, you can work days, nights, and flexible shifts too. Talking of ‘dream’ jobs, some of our shifts are sleep-ins!
