As a key maintenance team member, you will organise resources to drive efficient, effective utilisation of all personnel, plant and equipment.
You’ll supervise the maintenance personnel and the allocation of work to them against set plans and reactive maintenance regarding breakdowns
Your experience will enable you to promote and encourage teamwork and flexibility and promote integration and a team ethic between maintenance and production departments.
This opportunity will work on a shift rotation pattern of 4 on 5 off, 5 on 4 off rotation
You will supervise the maintenance department, monitoring performance, problem-solving, and liaising with management and the site coordinator. You’ll be involved with continuous improvement initiatives and ensure training, and development is complete for site operatives and efficiently onboarding new colleagues.
You’ll have a strong appreciation and understanding of a safe working environment, hazard awareness and a compliant attitude, experience of landfill avoidance processes or similar and maintenance and improvement techniques experience to achieve planned continuous improvement methods.
Previous supervisory experience with a positive approach to managing safety and being responsible for the safety of others. You’ll need good numeracy and verbal reasoning skills and be able to read electrical and engineering drawings. Previous experience and a recognised maintenance qualification.
