What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for delivering sales in the North American Market reporting to the North American Sales Director.   You will be responsible for delivering the North American co-edition and sub rights sales budget and work alongside the North American Sales Director in delivering the US Trade Sales budget through Hachette Book Group USA, which will involve attending bi-weekly meetings with the US team,  forecasting and monitoring sales again sales targets, assisting in preparing and delivering presentations throughout the year to sales teams and internally,  helping with stock management and helping to assist with maximising sales and profitability.  You will work across the whole of the Octopus and will work collaboratively internally to drive the sales.

You will have one direct report.

This role can be based at our London office, or at any of our new regional offices in Sheffield, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester or Bristol, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.

Salary:

£33,500 – £38,500, dependent on experience and location (+bonus +benefits)
