Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documents
  • Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date, following established templates and standards
  • Monitor project progress and performance against established objectives, timelines, and milestones
  • Execute quality assurance activities on all project plans (e.g. there is a clear critical path, all tasks are logically linked etc.), and be able to produce a visually appealing plan on a page
  • Compile and analyse project performance metrics, identifying trends, issues, and areas for improvement
  • Prepare regular project status reports and dashboards for project stakeholders, highlighting key accomplishments, risks, and dependencies
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and reviews, ensuring timely distribution of agendas, materials, and action items
  • Deliver support to project managers in specialist deliverables such as planning, RAID and resourcing

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience of working within a PMO in a complex project management environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint/Teams)
  • Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is preferred
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Visio, Jira, PPM Tools (i.e. Triskell) (desirable)
