- Experience working in a culinary/catering role in an education environment

- Ability to work on own initiative but within a framework
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work away from home when required
Essential
- Operational experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- First class self-presentation and integrity
- Self-starter with excellent planning and organisational skills – the ability to order, plan and prepare and deliver food activities which can take place in varying types of location
- Knowledge and understanding of The School Food Standards
- An imaginative approach to presentation to suit the audience which could be Children, Head Teachers, Governors, Parents, Consultants or Business Managers
- An ability to deliver under pressure and adapt to change
- Driving licence
