The Communications and Marketing team’s purpose is to lifts Mind’s brand, tell our story in a planned, and audience driven way and deliver strategic, life changing communications.
The role of the Senior Communications Account Officer is to:
- Provide expert communications advice and support to colleagues across Mind, acting as a comms lead for designated teams and in most instances be the first port of call into the communications and marketing team. Support teams to put audiences first and think creatively about how to reach them, and how to frame messages and create design in order to achieve our strategic goals.
- Work to the strategic marketing and communications plan to plan and deliver a wide range of top-notch communications. Develop well thought out integrated communications plans and audience focused messaging, you’ll also oversee or deliver a range of communications.
- As senior officer you will also take responsibility for identified bigger pieces of work when required.
- Reporting to the Communications and Production Manager, you will develop, implement and evaluate off/online marketing communications. You’ll develop plans and strategies help promote Mind and empower teams at Mind to deliver top notch communications.

This position will initially, in line with current and potentially future guidance, be based from home. Post lockdown this role will retain some flexibility but post holders will be expected to be in the office a minimum of two days thereafter (or more, depending on the arrangements of your team)
