Building new relationships with communities, the information you collect will help ensure the activities of the council are closely aligned with local priorities.
It is important to develop relationships and conversations within communities, to understand their lived experiences.
What will you be doing?
- It will be your responsibility to design ways to consult and engage with people and build relationships, to support the community and voluntary organisations.
- During consultation and public engagements, you will proactively engage with communities to understand their lived experience and to hear their voice, specifically on subjects relating to transport.
- To understand the priorities for the local area, you will be required to organise and attend meetings with the public, community groups and interest groups.
- You will be involved in running formal public consultations, in a legally compliant format.
- You will be responsible for planning activities, co-ordinating with partners, and delivering actions, utilising your previous experience to achieve the best outcomes for South Gloucestershire residents.
- It is important that you work closely with the Communications team, to share and deliver important messages.
