Job Description
The Renishaw Service Centre is currently seeking to recruit an administrator who will act as the first point of reference for customers who require service attention for their Renishaw products.
Responsibilities

Ensuring the accurate recording and processing of customer orders relating to repairs, loans, service exchanges, recalibrations and all aspects of service provided by the Customer Service Centre.

Compiling acknowledgements and invoices for service items, and where necessary generating the paperwork to support loan equipment.

Maintaining a high level of customer liaison for routine service administration, and proactively performing customer contact to expedite overdue requirements (purchase orders, loans, etc.)

Co-ordinate the transportation and import/export requirements for service items (including loans, exchanges, etc.) from the CSC to the customer, applying the shipping guidelines laid down by the CSC and/or customers.

Liaise with the other functions within Renishaw that interface with the CSC with respect to service issues. This would include the following;

Logistics functions from Goods Inwards to Despatch.

Commercial functions such as sales, sales support and marketing.

Technical functions including support, field service and engineering.

Compliance functions covering elements such as Dangerous Goods and Export Control.

Work with UK Sales in terms of the compilation of Service Agreements, and then perform the day-to-day control of the Service Agreements in place, most typically being the administration associated with Premium Support Cover agreements.

As the initiative develops, create communication links with the MSD Assembly area to progress the service items sub-contracted into their Production build cells.

Assist other Product Divisions in their service administration roles where these are not directly covered by the UK CSC. This could include the AM service facility at Miskin, the encoders area as serviceable encoder products are launched, and the Industrial Automation area as they work to launch a service facility at Exeter.
Key requirements

The minimum of four GCSE A-C passes (or equivalent), including Maths and English

A good level of computer literacy, preferably with experience of using MS Word , Excel and Outlook

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate an ability to pay particularly close attention to detail whilst working under pressure. They must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach and be able to work effectively to demanding timescales and deadlines. It is also critical to be able to relate to the situations that our customers find themselves in, deal effectively with the service actions required, and provide our customers with the support that they are seeking
