SeviceNow Adminstrator – Remote

We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join us as a ServiceNow Administrator.

ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform. You will be a member of a team of ServiceNow administrators and developers, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features that meet business needs. The ServiceNow Administrator will also participate in project meetings, develop reports and dashboards, and train end-users on ServiceNow best practices.

About You:
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and custom solutions.
- The development and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Manage the ServiceNow platform, including upgrades, patches, and integrations with other systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to ServiceNow.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow APIs, web services, and integration points with other enterprise systems.
- Create and manage ServiceNow automation scripts and orchestration workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications, workflows, and custom solutions.
- Conduct platform assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Design and implement ServiceNow security policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in ServiceNow.
- Train and support end-users in the use of ServiceNow.
- Manage ServiceNow instances, including security and access controls.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to ensure the smooth operation of ServiceNow.
- Maintain and improve ServiceNow CMDB and Asset Management.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow incident management, change management and problem management processes.
- Communicating to keep users informed about updates and changes
- Provide regular news and marketing information to create awareness of the capabilities and new functionalities offered
- Provide input to support the improvement in maturity of the various ITSM processes (ITIL)
- Provide support for 3rd party integrations
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delegating workload to the rest of the team
- Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform.
- Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades.
- Create and maintain system design and operations documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related study, or equivalent experience
- ITIL certification would be useful but not essential
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Languages – JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, ITIL
- Demonstrable experience as a Senior/Lead ServiceNow Administrator (7+ years).
- Demonstrable experience as a SME for ITSM module of ServiceNow
- Familiarity with ITAM, HAM, and Integration HUB desirable
- Familiarity with REST, SOAP, UI, SQL, HTML and CSS.
- Familiar with Business Process Management (BPM) / Business Process Design
- Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Competencies and Behaviors:
- Experience of effectively managing multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail on each project.
- Solid experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
- Adaptable to change and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem analysis skills to include the use of mathematical concepts to validate results.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, disseminate, and present significant amounts of information with an attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Clear and concise communication with superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Manage and prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision and provide mentorship
