We are looking for a Public Health Programmes Support Officer with energy and enthusiasm to help our team achieve the best health outcomes for the residents of Richmond and Wandsworth. We are currently recruiting for a permanent post in our expanding Health Protection team to support Richmond and Wandsworth Councils to provide the Health Protection response. This is an exciting time to join Health Protection, your support will help keep us on track as we juggle multiple projects and commitments. Working in a fast-paced team you will have opportunity to support key Health Protection programmes.

We are looking for someone with exceptional administrative and project management skills, and an eye for detail. We are a welcoming team and we are keen to learn from you so that we may improve our skills too.

  • Providing office support to the Consultant in Public Health and the team, to ensure the smooth running of the department, including dealing with enquiries and any other activities required within the service.
  • Coordinating a range of administrative functions including diary management, minute taking, information dissemination, information collection, coordination of filing systems, the management of invoices and other related financial duties.

You will need to have experience of:

  • Supporting programmes and projects, including data handling, data filing, team organisation and coordination.
  • You will also need to be confident in tasks relating to finance administration including for example invoice processing.
