Salary: £43090 to £64630 per annum ( dependant of experience)

 This role is responsible for leading the design, delivery and continuous improvement of one or more digital products, delivering the vision for the product based on expert understanding of end user needs, market context, journey and product performance and aligned to business strategy and vision.

The Product Owner will manage aspects of the product life-cycle enabling the test automation and environment management product to meet the needs of customers/users and achieve financial or other targets. This role also facilitates adoption products and business readiness, working with business change teams to ensure and monitor product performance after go live.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be experienced at planning and driving scope, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives. You enjoy working with all stakeholders making it easy for them to do business, understanding their requirements you can translate those into something that can be built and tested by a delivery team meeting those expectations.

  Technical Skills:

  • Proven environment management experience across different types of environment (system test, user test, staging) consisting of multiple technologies and applications.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of CI/CD, automation pipelines, Branching, Merging and related tooling including Github Enterprise, Github Actions, jFrog Artifactory, Cloudbees Jenkins and GoCD.
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand the complexities of software testing and releases.
  • Experience and passion towards driving a shift-left approach to software testing and service virtualisation, with knowledge of tooling such as Load Runner Cloud, Smartbear Ready API, Selenium and BurpSuite.
  • Knowledge of agile planning, collaboration and knowledge store tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence, and Microsoft Sharepoint.
  • Product Owner Experience
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the drivers of value in the product area.

    Product Owner Skills:

  • Experience of delivering the development of complex and/or high-risk products from an idea through to post-implementation monitoring.
  • Experience of writing user stories and acceptance criteria in behaviour driven development format
  • Experience in engaging with users and stakeholders to turn user insight into product improvements.
  • Able to set, monitor and report measurable product performance targets.
  • Experience of product ownership with a passion for evolving great products by leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Hours: 35 – Mon to Friday – 9am to 5pm
