Transport Manager – Walsingham – Walsingham

Job Title: Transport Manager
Location: Walsingham, Norfolk, UK
Contract type and shift: Permanent / Full Time – 37.5 hours per week (flexibility is necessary) 

 

This is a rewarding role for a person who has transport experience, is keen to explore different approaches, and who is someone who leads from the front. 

Change management is a skill that the capable person will have in abundance and will be able to see the bigger picture. 

As our Transport Manager at the Walsingham site, you will oversee a team of drivers, operating on a 24/7 animal feed manufacturing site. 

You will be responsible for organising and managing the day to day / periodic transport activity of the sites vehicles and drivers by controlling costs, ensuring compliance with the confines of all relevant legislations. 

 What you’ll bring:

  • CPC National Road Haulage and O Licence Holder
  • Managerial experience is necessary. 
  • Lean Management / CI Experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing / or distribution environment 
  • Fleet Management 
  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry is beneficial.
  • Paragon user 
  • Evident stakeholder management skills
