Location: Enstone, Oxfordshire, UK
Contract / Shift: Permanent – Monday to Friday 07:00-16:30

About the role:
As a Utility Operator, you will have an important role in the day-to-day operations of the mill.
You will be responsible for managing raw material intake, loading finished product lorries, and maintaining high hygiene standards.
Your role ensures that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, all while keeping animal welfare and feed safety as top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks in the milling operation including raw material intake, bulk outloading, and additive preparation.
- Weigh and load finished product lorries with accurate feed types and perform essential quality checks.
- Ensure hygiene standards in the mill meet or exceed company and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the weighing, quality checks, and routing of raw materials into appropriate storage.
- Prioritise the achievement of food safety, maintaining awareness of UFAS standards and assisting the company to exceed these requirements.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring both personal and team compliance.
About you:
- Experience in food, agricultural, or production environments.
- Working knowledge of automated plant machinery
- Ability to balance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Great organisational and prioritisation skills
- Experience in feed mill production (Desirable)
- Basic PC skills (Desirable)
