The Role

Our School of Business Management and Commerce is thriving and we are seeking additional members of the Business Management and MBA teams to help support our students to learn with industry.

It’s a great time to join Ravensbourne, our courses are taught in a dynamic studio type and so you will not be simply lecturing but immersed in a range of interactive teaching methods and encouraging real industry engagement on a continuous basis.

Our team

The School of Business Management and Commerce has one Department of Business which grown significantly over the last two years hence the need to expand our team.

We venture into the space where business meets creativity recognising that the creative industries account for a substantial proportion of the UK and global economies.

Business does not exist unless it has a context to exist within. We recognise this and aim to ensure that when business and creativity collide it is purposeful, supports positive leadership and facilitates innovation. This fuels our learning with industry philosophy.

We are a globally minded department reflecting our students and our staff body.

The Candidate

We’re looking for both experienced academics along with business professionals with some experience of teaching.

About You

You are…

 A business professional or academic strategic thinker with a creative approach to teaching

 Collaborative and where needed skilled in team teaching and assessment

Appreciative of the needs of both home and international students and able to provide exceptional support

Able to connect and work with industry

Minimum of degree qualified in a business related subject with significant industry experience or a postgraduate degree and the ability to engage with industry.

Interviews: will take the form of a two stage process with  the initial interview held online

The Role will be required to work from any of the Ravensbourne buildings on a weekly shift roster basis covering Monday to Friday 9am-9pm.
