Role: Payment Acceptance Merchant Acquiring SME

We are looking for a subject matter expert (SME) in Merchant Acquiring to lead strategic transformation initiatives across customer-facing platforms and payment ecosystems. This role will provide deep domain expertise, market insights, and delivery leadership to a high-impact program spanning digital channels, onboarding, and developer experience. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Transformation

  • Define and execute transformation roadmaps aligned with our clients strategic objectives.
  • Act as SME across customer presentation layers, POS applications, and onboarding journeys.

Functional SME Coverage

  • Provide expertise across:
    • Customer Presentation (Web & App)
    • Payment Pages & POS Applications
    • Merchant Onboarding & Self-Service Platforms
    • Merchant Processing, Settlement, Fees, Discounts
    • Authorizations, Terminal Management, Gateway
    • Rewards & Loyalty, Card Schemes

Market Insight & Innovation

  • Deliver industry insights and thought leadership to guide program decisions.
  • Integrate emerging technologies and market trends into transformation strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate workshops and cross-functional sessions to align stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing investment and delivery priorities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of digital platforms, API ecosystems, and onboarding journeys.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
