Job Title: IT Business Partner
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid)

Our Business Technology Services (BTS) team is looking for a Business Partner to act as a trusted bridge between BTS and our Business Units. In this role, you’ll work closely with BU CIOs and leadership teams to enable transformation, shape technology roadmaps, and ensure our services and solutions genuinely support business ambition across the ABF group.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with assigned Business Units, acting as their primary point of contact into BTS
- Proactively drive business technology change, challenging existing ways of working and identifying safer, smarter, and more effective solutions
- Represent BTS within Business Unit technology leadership forums, while advocating BU needs and priorities within BTS governance and planning
- Influence and help shape the BTS strategy and roadmap to align with Business Unit objectives and enterprise-wide programmes
- Work closely with BTS Product Managers to understand current services and emerging capabilities, ensuring these are clearly communicated and effectively adopted within BUs
- Lead business engagement on key strategic initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes and a positive end-to-end experience
- Provide delivery assurance across the project and change portfolio, identifying risks, managing dependencies, and supporting continuous improvement
- Oversee BTS service performance and costs for Business Units, supporting transparency and value through an informed understanding of charging models
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience acting as a change agent, delivering sustainable business and technology transformation
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts in clear, credible, and accessible language
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset, comfortable challenging constructively and navigating competing priorities
- Strong understanding of business processes across multiple functions, alongside awareness of modern technology trends
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure and fast-moving environments, making sound decisions when required
- Cultural awareness and adaptability, with the resilience to succeed in a diverse, global organisation
- A collaborative, courageous, and trustworthy approach, aligned to ABF and BTS values
Location
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park. The office has recently been renovated and along with a modern work environment has great public transport links, free onsite parking, free drink facilities, free lunch option each day and a great team culture.
