Business Support Executive – Nottingham

About the Role

We’re looking for a Sales Support Executive to join our Business Development and Account Management team. You’ll work closely with Account Managers, Sales Executives, and internal departments to manage customer information, reporting, quotations, inbound leads, and CRM data. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Sales and Account Management teams.
  • Deliver internal account management support to selected customers, building strong working relationships.
  • Produce monthly customer and internal reports in line with business requirements.
  • Manage and report on inbound sales leads.
  • Optimise customer information, including Site Waste Management Plans.
  • Maintain accurate, timely data within the CRM system.
  • Ensure commodity rebate data is accurate and up to date.
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally, promoting excellent service and responsiveness.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 

About You

We’re looking for a proactive, organised individual with strong customer focus and administrative capability.

Essential:
  • Good standard of education with high levels of numeracy and literacy.
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management or account support.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of waste regulations.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Product or industry knowledge.
  • Experience tracking KPIs and supporting sales performance.
