Claims Service Processing Analyst

Supporting an industry-leading global claims organization, this role contributes to delivering high-quality data, reporting, and operational support. The Analyst plays an important role in ensuring accurate data processing, maintaining reporting standards, and supporting internal stakeholders in day-to-day claims analytics activities.

What the day will look like

  • Support data preparation activities across multiple data sources, including cleansing, formatting, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Assist in generating recurring reports (e.g., monthly reports, standard dashboards, data extracts).
  • Handle day-to-day internal data and reporting requests from colleagues, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Perform regular quality checks on datasets and reports to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Maintain and update reporting files, trackers, and documentation to support standardized processes.
  • Monitor data refresh cycles and flag discrepancies or issues to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with global claims, analytics, and operations colleagues to understand requirements and translate them into clear data and reporting outputs.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and support documentation of processes and reporting logic.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in data handling or reporting processes.
  • Manage assigned tasks effectively, ensuring adherence to deadlines and service expectations.

As part of the global Claims Analytics and Operations ecosystem, this role is responsible for supporting daily analytics and reporting activities, including but not limited to data consolidation, report generation, and responding to colleague and client requests. The individual will work closely with global claims, analytics, and operations colleagues, coordinating work and sharing knowledge across regions.

 

 

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, ideally in business, analytics, information systems, economics, engineering, statistics, or related fields.
  • Experience in data processing, reporting, or analytics.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Comfort working with data and attention to detail when handling datasets and reports.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage routine tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and data environments.
