Senior Commercial Retail Unit Surveyor (3602) – Monument Place

GTR currently has a great opportunity to recruit a Senior Commercial Retail Unit Surveyor based at Monument Place with Hybrid working. 

Do you have experience managing turnover rent portfolios and retail performance analytics?

Do you have an understanding of competitive tendering and procurement processes?

Are you a Member or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)?

Can you interpret complex data sets (turnover, footfall, arrears, performance metrics) and translate insight into action?

As the Senior Commercial Retail Unit Surveyor you will lead the commercial performance, strategic asset management and long‑term value creation of a defined portfolio of station retail units across the GTR estate. The role is responsible for the delivery of the Ancillary Revenue annual revenue budget for property. 

This role is accountable for delivering sustainable income growth, optimising tenant mix, driving complex lease events, and shaping the commercial strategy for one of the largest retail estates in UK rail. 

The post holder acts as the senior commercial lead for their portfolio, using data‑driven insights, strong negotiation capability and cross‑functional influence to maximise revenue, minimise risk and enhance the customer experience across GTR stations.
