Compliance Intern (Long-Term) – Istanbul, Turkey

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our İstanbul office. (At least 2 days in the office and 1 day remote each week)

What Your Day Will Look Like

Throughout this long-term internship, you will participate actively in the routine activities of our risk and reinsurance solutions teams operating in the insurance and broking field. You will experience a full-spectrum view of the sector, joining real business procedures and growing both your technical knowledge and your collaborative skills.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitors legal and regulatory requirements,
  • Implements Aon’s global compliance policies (e.g. anti-bribery, conflict of interest, data privacy) at the local level,
  • Reviews internal controls and business processes,
  • Plans and delivers compliance trainings for employees,
  • Conducts Know Your Customer (KYC) and sanction screening activities and relevant documentation,
  • Follows regulatory changes and reports key compliance topics to Regional Legal & Compliance

Required Skills and Experience

  • Current university student (preferably 3rd or 4th year) or fresh graduate
  • Must be available to work at least 3 days
  • Strong communication skills, a great teammate, and eager to learn.
  • Preferably good command of English and proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
