As a Cruise and Destination Experience Coordinator, you’ll play a key part in bringing our shore excursions to life. Helping to design, set up and deliver experiences that inspire, delight and stay with our guests long after they return home.
You’ll join our Cruise Operations team, supporting our European and Worldwide programmes, and helping ensure every Destination Experience meets the highest commercial, operational and guest experience standards. It’s a role where your organisation, creativity and passion for great service will shine.
We work in a hybrid way at Saga both at home and in the office.
Role Responsibility
This is a hands on role where you’ll help shape and deliver our market leading shore excursion programmes. You’ll support the set up, administration and operational delivery of Destination Experiences across our Ocean and River Cruise itineraries, ensuring every experience is accurate, inspiring and aligned with our product strategy.
You will be responsible for:
• System administration and data input to support the delivery of Destination Experience information
• Setting up excursions in line with planned itineraries to ensure guests receive accurate pre cruise information
• Reviewing content to ensure all guest facing information is correct and meets expectations
• Supporting the operational delivery of shore excursion programmes across all destinations
• Managing excursion capacity to ensure guests can enjoy their first choice experiences
• Enhancing River Cruise content to ensure it is engaging, inspirational, informative and factual
• Ensuring consistency of information across all cruise vessels
• Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to support and enhance guest experiences
• Championing product quality by ensuring all excursions meet health, safety and insurance guidelines
• Conducting research to ensure Saga Cruises remains a market leader of bespoke quality experiences
• Responding to sales team queries
• Supporting the wider cruise operation as required
The Ideal Candidate
You’re someone who thrives in a fast moving environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You’re organised, proactive and able to work with accuracy and care, even when juggling multiple deadlines.
You’ll bring:
• Strong organisational, time management and multi tasking skills
• Confidence using systems (Taurus, MXP, Word, Excel, Outlook[JN1.1]) and strong numeracy and literacy
• Excellent administrative, analytical and problem solving abilities
• A guest centric mindset with a passion for creating memorable experiences
• Flexibility, adaptability and a calm, proactive approach under pressure
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• The ability to build productive internal and external relationships
Desirable;
• Knowledge of Saga’s cruise operation
• Destination knowledge
• Familiarity with Saga systems
• MXP experience
