Operations Manager – Sittingbourne
As an Operations Manager you will manage day-to-day site and yard operations to ensure the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of products and services, whilst promoting a positive safety culture, provide technical and process guidance, and lead teams to deliver high-quality buildings safely, on time and to budget, supporting an exceptional customer experience.
Role Details:
• Annual salary up to £60,000 dependent on skills and experience
• Potential annual-on-target bonus of up to 10% subject to business performance
• Role based: Sittingbourne, ME10 3RR
• Contract type: Permanent
• Company Car
• Eligible for single private medical
• Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
In this role as an Operations Manager, you will be required to:
• Apply and continuously improve visual quality standards to ensure consistent, high quality delivery.
• Plan and organise resources effectively, sharing operational knowledge to meet quality, cost and delivery commitments.
• Monitor compliance with company quality and safety standards through audits and recommend improvements where needed.
• Provide operational input into new product development to ensure safe and efficient implementation in practice.
• Analyse operational performance data to identify and implement local improvements.

Our Ideal Candidate as Operations Manager
• Broad knowledge of operational practices, with good technical and process understanding.
• Experience of supervising and supporting operational teams.
• Awareness of how operational activities contribute to commercial performance with experience of controlling costs and delivering to budget.
• Experience of conducting audits and applying improvements to meet quality and safety standards.
