The Role

As Collections Manager, you will lead a fast-paced, target-driven team managing a portfolio of SME customers via phone, email, and customer occasional meetings. You will take ownership of teams performance, ensuring exceptional service and achieving collections targets.

Key Responsibilities

Process Management & Improvement

  • Maximise debt recovery while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Drive aged debt reduction and achieve monthly targets
  • Ensure daily and weekly cash collection and debtor day targets are met
  • Allocate workload and manage escalated queries and complaints
  • Maintain strong financial controls and support process improvements

People Management

  • Champion Corona’s culture, vision, and values
  • Lead by example, delegate effectively, and provide regular feedback
  • Translate company strategy into actionable team plans
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Recognise and reward high performance

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience within a management role within credit control
  • A proven track record of meeting KPIs and targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • Intermediate Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs)
  • Energy industry knowledge is desirable but not essential.
