This one gives you two of the most important aviation organisations in Australia.We’re looking for a Senior Account Director to lead and grow two highly strategic customer relationships within our Aviation business. These are established, long-term partnerships where success comes from building trust, understanding complex operational environments, and helping customers achieve their objectives over many years, not just closing the next deal.You’ll become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, identifying opportunities to expand the value our solutions deliver while ensuring customers continue to see Ideagen as a strategic partner.This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who is equally comfortable in the boardroom, working alongside operational leaders, and coordinating internal teams to achieve outstanding customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Building trusted relationships with senior and executive stakeholders across strategic aviation and government organisations.
  • Developing account strategies that align customer priorities with long-term growth opportunities.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand adoption of Ideagen solutions and services.
  • Leading the full customer journey, from strategic planning and engagement through to adoption, renewal and growth.
  • Acting as the executive point of contact for key customer relationships.
  • Maintaining accurate forecasting, account planning and pipeline visibility.
  • Working cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Support and technical teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Bringing market insight and customer feedback back into the business to influence product and go-to-market strategy.

Skills and Experience:

You’ll likely bring experience from aviation and defence, highly regulated environments where relationships, credibility and trust matter.

We’re particularly interested in people who have:

    • Experience managing large, complex or strategic customer relationships.
    • A proven track record of growing accounts and delivering commercial outcomes.
    • Knowledge of the Australian aviation ecosystem and its stakeholder landscape.
    • Experience working with software, technology or SaaS solutions.
    • Strong commercial, forecasting and account planning capability.
    • The confidence and credibility to engage with executive and C-suite stakeholders.
    • A collaborative approach and the ability to bring people together to solve customer challenges.
