About the Role
We’re looking for a Computer Science & AI Intern to join our Innovation Team. This role offers a unique, hands-on opportunity to work on real-world AI-driven prototypes that help shape the future of sports technology.

You’ll focus on building proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new sports data applications – from data analysis to user experience, through to integration with state-of-the-art AI models. You’ll work independently on projects but stay connected through regular check-ins and remote collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rapid Prototyping: Design and develop POCs using AI tools and sports-related data.
  • AI Integration: Utilize large language models (LLMs) via prompting, APIs, or fine-tuning to add intelligent functionality.
  • End-to-End Development: Take concepts from ideation to interactive MVPs using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
  • Frontend Development: Build clean and functional user interfaces (ideally React).
  • Data Exploration: Analyze and interpret sports data to drive insights and use cases.
  • User Validation: Collaborate with internal users and stakeholders to test and refine prototypes.
  • Remote Collaboration: Work autonomously, with at least one weekly check-in via Microsoft Teams (additional syncs optional).

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Able to commit to 20 hours per week for 16 weeks.
  • Experienced in Python and comfortable with AI prototyping frameworks (e.g., Streamlit, Gradio).
  • Familiar with LLMs and prompt engineering techniques.
  • Interested in or experienced with AI-enhanced coding tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
  • Ideally have some frontend experience with React.
  • Self-motivated, able to work across time zones, and passionate about innovation, technology, and sports.
