Contract: 12-13 months FTC Start dates are usually in June/July
Hybrid working: We want you to get the best out of your placement, so we operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times where you will need to be in more frequently depending on the needs of the business.

Are you an analytical and driven individual who thrives under pressure? We have an opportunity for an undergraduate to join our Risk team as an Asset Risk Forecasting undergraduate. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various departments, where your attention to detail and mathematical abilities will support the analysing of data.What will you be doing?- You’ll be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of industry and market related data to calculate Residual Values (RVs) for all Volkswagen Group models
- Deliver timely and accurate analysis of industry and market related data
- Enhancing your expertise in Excel to effectively analyse data and carry out different reports
- Collaborating with Volkswagen Group brand colleagues to analyse new model product information
- Engaging with senior management and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement of finance processes
- Manage multiple inboxes and respond to queries from colleagues across Volkswagen Financial Services and Volkswagen Group
What are we looking for?- You’re currently studying a degree in Maths, Economics or a related field
- Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills to effectively handle financial data
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and intermediate to beginner-level Excel knowledge, with a willingness to expand your technical skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure, juggling multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines
- A curious mindset with the ability to think creatively
- Work both independently and collaboratively and put yourself forward for new challenges

What our recruitment process looks like:
- Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
- You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
- If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
- If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
Please note: Our undergraduate placement roles do not meet the UKVI’s criteria for the skilled worker sponsorship route, therefore we are unable to accept candidates requiring sponsorship for this role.
