The Role
As an Assistant Security Manager, you’ll support the Security Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading teams on the ground, and ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients.
Role: Assistant Security Manager
Pay Rate: £15.61 p/h
Location: London, EC3V
Role Requirements: SIA License
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and motivating security teams across shifts
- Support the planning and delivery of effective security operations
- Ensure compliance with site procedures, policies, and legal requirements
- Respond to incidents professionally and decisively
- Conduct patrols, inspections, and risk assessments
- Support training, performance monitoring, and staff development
- Act as a key point of contact in the Security Manager’s absence
About You
- Proven experience in the security industry, ideally in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Calm, professional, and confident under pressure
- Excellent report-writing and attention to detail
- Valid security licence (as required by local regulations)
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards
