This role requires on-site presence at Asda House in Leeds for at least three days per week. We’re really looking forward to having you around!
Are you an experienced Automation Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to use and grow your expertise? We’re looking for someone to help build our Automation capabilities across Asda, implementing technologies such as Agentic AI and Comms mining where possible.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked as an Automation developer previously and is able to help in identifying new opportunities for Automation, going on to design and build these processes through Automation.
What you’ll be doing
- Engage and collaborate with team members and business partners to assess, design, and build intelligent automation solutions.
- Translate a business ask into a simple requirement and process design, using the Scrum framework for software development.
- Provide support and guidance to production support teams where relevant.
- Support the wider team in carrying out proof of concepts on new Tools/Technologies.
- Work with third-party vendors and internal squads to embed best practices into the SDLC and contribute to new ideas and ways of working.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who can work well in a team, who is comfortable managing multiple projects and thrives in a fast paced, changing environment.
You’ll likely have:
- UiPath development experience in an intelligent automation environment.
- Experience in working in an Agile delivery model.
- Database experience in Microsoft SQL, and other cloud-based environments.
- Experience in using published API’s.
- MS Power App development experience .
- Strong analytical, problem solving, facilitation, solution design, and technical skills.
- Strong written skills with the ability to clearly document solution designs and code
- Strong communications and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated track record of delivering results through high quality sustainable solutions
