We are looking for an experienced Barista to join the team at Ashmolean Museum Cafe

We’re looking for enthusiastic and passionate people to join our team at the Ashmolean Café, located within the prestigious Ashmolean Museum in the heart of Oxford.

The Ashmolean Café is a vibrant and fast-paced venue, welcoming visitors from across the world. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality food and speciality coffee alongside warm, attentive and professional service.

As part of the Benugo team, you’ll play an important role in creating a memorable experience for our guests. From providing excellent customer service and preparing quality drinks to keeping the café looking its best, you’ll work alongside a friendly and supportive team in one of Oxford’s most iconic cultural destinations.

About the Barista role:

  • Preparing and serving coffee and tea drinks

  • Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and tea served at Benugo

  • Supporting the Head Barista in training the team

  • Properly handling and maintainng all coffee equipment

  • Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard

  • Ensuring that food safety standards are always followed

  • General cleaning duties and general tasks across the site

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, confident and enjoys working with people. You’ll be comfortable working in a busy environment, have a positive approach to teamwork and take pride in delivering excellent service.

Previous hospitality/Barista experience is an advantage, but a great attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important.
