About the role
Business Support Services within Cambridgeshire County Council play a key role in the Council delivering excellent services to the residents of Cambridgeshire.Ā
What will you be doing?Ā
Working as part of a fantastic team of Business Officers, we would like to recruit someone who doesn’t mind a bit of variety in their day, is quick to react to changing circumstances & enjoys a fast pace of working life. The main focus would be around financial tasks, paying & raising invoices, supporting budget monitoring, recording financial transaction. There will also be a focus on supporting the Education Health Care Plan application work. You will be fully supported by a lovely team.Ā
Working as part of a team you must possess good interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to be able to manage your own workload; to keep calm under pressure and be able to work to tight deadlines. You will support your co-workers with their workload during absence and during busy periods. You should have a methodical and concise approach to tasks and the ability to priorities workloads effectively whilst being able to multi-task.Ā
You must have good attention to detail. You will also need to demonstrate that you have a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) Office 365 and be IT confident. Training and 1:1 support will be provided on all in-house systems.Ā
