Job Title: Course Leader – Engineering
Salary: Commencing at £33,352 with progression to £38,651 per annum
About the Role
What You Will Do
- To deliver lively and interactive teaching, learning and assessment to an outstanding standard on a range of programmes as appropriate.
- To secure outstanding success for all learners and ensure targets for recruitment, retention, achievement and success, attendance and progression are met.
- To support the design and development of programmes in Engineering.
- To teach on a range of full-time, part-time programmes at Level 2 and 3.
- Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, and developing and preparing flexible learning materials.
About You
- To have a relevant Engineering/Manufacturing expertise.
- To have or be willing to study for a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent).
- To have industry experience, with current knowledge and the ability to deliver to industry standard.
- Be well-organised and able to manage the peaks and troughs of a varied workload.
