Location: Severn Estuary / South Wales, UK
Contract type and shift: Permanent, Monday – Friday – 37.5 hours per week
Package includes Salary from £50,000 (depending on experience) plus a benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and reward your impact, including performance related bonus, car allowance, private healthcare, and a matched pension contribution of up to 10%
We are recruiting a Dairy Performance Specialist to support the delivery of commercial growth, customer retention and relationship management across the South West territory. Acting as a trusted nutritional adviser to dairy farmers, the role combines the strengths of both sales and nutritional consultancy to deliver value-led solutions using the full portfolio of Asterra businesses, including KW Feeds, NMR, Feedlync and associated services. As a Dairy Performance Specialist, you’ll be the trusted partner helping dairy farmers improve performance, profitability and long-term success across your territory
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop long-term partnerships with dairy farmers and farm businesses.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure customers gain maximum value from products and services.
- Analyse farm and herd performance data to provide practical, value-driven recommendations.
- Help customers improve productivity, profitability and overall farm efficiency.
- Grow existing accounts while identifying and winning new business opportunities.
- Promote a broad portfolio of feed, herd health, milk recording, genomic and consultancy solutions.
- Create integrated solutions that meet customer needs and deliver measurable results.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple businesses to provide the best outcome for customers.
- Represent the business at farm walks, industry events, customer meetings and agricultural forums.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate CRM records.
- Monitor territory performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Turn data and market intelligence into commercial opportunities.
What you will bring:

- Agricultural sales or account management experience
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and negotiation capability
- Understanding of dairy/livestock farming systems
- CRM and pipeline management experience
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
