Depot Interface Manager – Taffs Well, Wales

Salary: £57,229

The Role

Located at Taffs Well depot, supporting Fleet, working with the Safety and Transformation project teams across the site ensuring high standards of safety compliance across all project work and operations.  

 

Role responsibilities

  • Be point of contact for emerging issues and contractor requirements and support the Depot Manager in challenging unsafe practices.   
  • Take part in daily transformation meetings managing the depot safety controls and completing daily quality checks
  • Complete safety and wellbeing audits focusing on transformation projects and operations. Develop and promote internal communication plan so ensure all stake holders are aware and engaged in depot project works. 
  • Working with the Safety team to develop improvements and best practice through motivation and  encouragement ensuring that TFW adopt appropriate procedures to meet legislative and statutory obligations.   

 

Who we’re looking for

  • Background  in CSM/CDM and  Contractor management   
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all  aspects of Occupational, Health, Safety with ability to relate this to the Rail Industry 
  • Diplomatic, professional, firm and high motivated with  the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels. 
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, ability to prepare clear, concise reports, supported by statistical analysis  

 

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
