About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance Team who will support to deliver electrical reactive and EICRs works to our homes, as well as getting involved in other workstreams as required from time to time. This role primarily covers our West patch but will be required to work across Broadland’s communities and locations throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk, helping to delivery services and support our customers throughout the region, as business needs dictate.
The main duties for the role include:
- To work closely with the Electrical Team to help deliver efficient delivery of responsive repairs and EICRs
- You will support with Planned and Void works where required.
- Ensuring that the work is undertaken in a timely manner consistent with prescribed performance indicators advised.
- Manage tenant enquiries and respond in a professional manner reporting anything back to the relevant manager.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
- City and Guilds 5357 / City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- City and Guilds 2360 – Part 1 and Part 2 or equivalent.
- AM2 depending on when NVQ completed.
- City and Guilds or equivalent 2382 (18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations).
- City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualification.
- A Driving Licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required.
- Experience of working in Property Maintenance
- Good IT skills
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will join our on-call rota.
