As Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the financial accounting for the Canadian SEA companies, and act as the key point of contact for all financial activities for SEA Canada. You’ll deliver financial reporting, support a wide range of stakeholders on project finances, and help to inform critical business decisions.
 
The Finance Manager will be based at our Ottawa site. This role allows for flexible working, but requires being onsite 2 days a week.
 
Competitive salary offered depending on experience.
 
What you’ll be doing
  • Financial management and governance – you’ll support business decisions by developing financial reports, support the control of project finances, and ensure company compliance from a finance perspective
  • Finance Business Partnering – you’ll work with the wider Canadian cohort to support, cultivate and grow financial awareness and knowledge across the company and positively influence financial performance
  • Continuous improvement – you’ll take a continuous improvement approach to all aspects of finance at SEA Canada

What we’re looking for
  • You’ll bring proven experience of Financial Management in a small-medium sized company, ideally within the manufacturing or defence industry
  • Relevant professional accountancy qualification
  • Strong IT skills including ERP systems, MS Office and reporting tools, and excellent communication
